Manuka Essential Oil

• MANUKA OIL is harvested by hand from an evergreen shrub Manuka tree native to Australia and extracted by steam distillation from the leaves and branchlets of the Leptospermum scoparium tree with pure spring water to create an oil that is clear, pale yellow.
  
  
• Over the centuries, Manuka Essential Oil has had a vital role in Australian and Maori people, who are indigenous to New Zealand civilization, as an important part of their healing tradition.
  
  
• Although the plant is sometimes called a "tea tree," Manuka Oil differs in composition, source, and origin from the well-known Tea Tree Oil and is more stronger and effective than Tea Tree Oil ( Melaleuca alternifolia). Like Tea Tree Oil, however, Manuka Oil has many wonderful uses on the skin, hair, scalp, and nails with calming soothing, and healing properties.
